Zidane & poor kids
Zidane lately said that he is done with soccer and he is going to do his best to help poor kids around the world.
Zinedine Zidane was in Cairo on Thursday to launch a home for handicapped street children as part of a worldwide programme aimed at helping the most disadvantaged youngsters.
Egypt's National Council for Childhood and Motherhood signed a protocol with French company Danone, for which Zidane is world ambassador, to provide handicapped and homeless children with shelter, health care and education.
"It gives me immense pleasure to inaugurate a home for the handicapped street children of Egypt," Zidane told journalists.
"Undoubtedly I will be more gratified when all the children of the world enjoy care, safety and protection."
These kind of jobs that Zezo is looking for sonce he stopped playing soccer.

Story
one day me and my friends went to the hookabar back home in Saudi Arabia to watch this soccer game between real Madrid and Barcelona. three of us were going for Barcelona and just me and the other friend were going for real madrid. Barcelona was winning the game so far. it was 2-0 and 80min. only 10 min left. my friend said I'm sure Zidane will do something but they were laughing at us. i believed in zidane and i was sure he will score or do something. the goal keeper passed the ball to zidane and he started running with the ball using his skills and moves that no one can do but him. he shoot and scored a great goal. and when it was 90 min he run with the ball and crossed it and then Raul scored the second goal. we were so happy and the other boys were just so mad and couldn't say anything.

Reaction to Zidane's sending off
France coach Raymond Domenech said the referee should have given Zinedine Zidane more protection in the World Cup final defeat against Italy in Berlin. Zidane was sent off in extra-time for a headbutt on Marco Materazzi before France went on to lose on penalties. "Materrazzi is the man of the match, not Andrea Pirlo," said Domenech. "When one has to put up with what Zidane had to and the referee doesn't do anything, one understands. You can't excuse it, but you can understand it." The France coach added that Zidane regretted what had happened but refused to say if he had apologised.

LAST GAME FOR REAL MADRID
On 7 May 2006, Zidane played his last home game for Real Madrid at the famous Santiago Bernabéu stadium. His team-mates wore special jerseys that had ZIDANE 2001–2006 written on the bottom of the club logo. The Real Madrid fans gave him a warm reception and kept cheering him throughout the game. The opponent team was Villarreal CF and the game ended in a 3-3 draw. He scored the second goal for Real Madrid. After the game, Zidane swapped jerseys with Juan Roman Riquelme, the Villarreal CF and Argentinian midfielder. Zidane was given a massive ovation by spectators, which left him in tears.

Zinedine Zidane scored a goal of sheer brilliance as Real Madrid ended their centenary season by winning their ninth European Cup. this goal was so perfect and i remamber me and my friends were going for the real and we were jumping and yelling when he scored it. it was just a crazy game and we were so happy that the real team won this game.

In France, where Arabic immigrants are often marginalized, he has improved French impressions of Algerians (his parents are Algerian immigrants) thanks to his feats (and feet). His media indifference notwithstanding, his talent in-between the goal posts is unquestionable. He can change the flow of a game in an instant. Zinedine Yazid Zidane, or as they call him " Zizou" was born in Algeria in 23 June 1972. A great player who lead France to win the 1998 World Cup and to the final in 2006. He played under four European clubs, including Juventus and Real Madrid. Zizouo entered the world-record fee of $87 million for his transfer to Real Madrid in 2001 and he was the highest ever paid. Zidane attracted millions of fans worldwide at the World cup final with two headed goals against Brazil and made tension in the 1998 France won the cup for the first time ever. He, also, played great games in Euro 2000 and helped France to win that cup too. At the 2006 FIFA World Cup, he was named "Most Outstanding Player" of the tournament, receiving the golden ball but the France team lost the final with penely kicks aginst Italy and in that game Zizuo got dismissed in extra-time of the final for headbutting Italian defender Materazzi. there were a debat around what happened. some people thought it was Zizuo falut while other said it was Materazzi fault. for me I think it is Materazzi falut because as Zizuo later said " Materazzi was pulling Zizuo's t-shirt all the time then Zizuo told Materazzi that is going to give it to him after the game if he wants it." Materazzi replied " I do not want, I want your mother or sister." Zizuo was so upset and headbutting him. anyway, later Materazzi apologized to Zizuo about what happened. I think Materazzi was so smart for getting involved in dismissing Zizuo from the game because Zizuo was playing so good and if that did not happen France might won the cup. however, Materazzi shouldn't do it because the final is sport and in sport everyone should be friendly but come'n it's the world cup final, who care about being friendly?! :)
